I have 2 for stores (Khols and Macys) because of their awesome discounts and coupons, one for BP gas and groceries, one for other expenses, and one for Amazon.com for their discounts as well.

I used to have a LOT more but then I realized it was negatively affecting my credit so I closed several of them.
I would like to make it so that I only use debit cards and cash so I am only spending in my means, but that will take a few years since I'm a college student. |

none. I believe credit cards are bad, and cause people stress. Why bring something into my life that is going to increase the stress in my life?
Maybe the question should be how many people are stressed trying to make those credit card payments. |

i am proud to say that i have Zero cards. Who cares if you have a good credit score. A good credit score means that you LIKE DEBT which sounds dumb. I have no debt and my money MAKES interest and i dont pay interest on it. i have 3 months of emergency money in a bank account that i cant touch that can take care of my family if I lose my job, car explodes, or any other emergency. Credit cards are not the answer and lead to the path of "i never carry a balance but i have them for a crutch to lean on JUST IN CASE" Use cash and only cash. |

I have 1 card in my name. My husband has 6 and I am a cardholder on each of his. I definitely use my credit card because I want to keep my credit profile active and in good standing. We use 2 of his accounts most other times. The other 4 of his accounts are there for back up, but we don't intend to use them. |
