I was kicked out of high school at the age of 15 with no qualifications and vertually illeterate,
I am the director of TSE UK Group and have a salery (not hourly wage) of £65k
I think if you have a degree you should be earning more than £5.52 may be your degree is in a useless subject or you are working in the wrong sector |

I earn £14.51 per hour but thats because I have worked for my company for 10 years and worked my way up from an Admin assistant to a section manager. You have probably only just started work so you need a bit of work experience behind you in order to create an impression when you apply for a job that is higher paid. Also it depends what your degree is for as to what line of work you go into, start at the bottom as you are and work your way up.
BTW I have a BTEC national diploma |
