it really depends on what type of lawyer and a few other variables- like partner, state- lawyer (representing state prosecution/ state defense), title lawer, research etc.
If you know exactly what kind go to salary.com and they should be able to tell you.
I know my friend's sister graduated NYU magna cumme laud (with high honors) and was offered $180,000/year by a law firm in NY...

um, im not a lawyer or a fashion designer(even tho i want to be both of them) but i heard that a lawyer gets paid a lot more than doctors. and doctors get about $5,000.00 im not really sure. but i dont know about fashion designer. sry! but good luck on the school research! |

They might start around $50K-$60K, but they have to claw to get that in the beginning. Many do pro-bono work and don't get paid much above expenses.
An established probate lawyer can earn upwards of half a million, counting retainers and estate/suit winnings. There is no real ceiling. It's a business like anything else.

Both of these will depend on where you work and if you are in a specialty. Lawyers can do collection work, litigate, real estate, probate, criminal, intellectual property and corporate to cite a few examples. Lawyers could earn as little as $30-50 to well in the six figures. There are a very few who earn in the 7 or 8 figures, but those are not the norm and take years to get to that level. I would guess that most fall between $40-80,000/yr. I would guess that fashion designers would earn between $25-70,000 or more depending on where you work and exactly what you do in the industry. |

If they work for a law firm they are stuck at $40-$80K US until they move up the ladder. Then they can earn a couple hundred thousand. If they go into private practice for themsleves and get their own cases, they can go $1 million and above easily per year. These are the very best lawyers who are smart, resourceful, entrepreneurial, competent. |

a normal lawyer can get paid around 60-80 thoushand brittish pounds a year.
a good 1 100-140 grand a year
a barrister can get around 170-230 grand a year (all in brittish pounds)
and a fashion desginer doesn't get alot if shes not good..
a good 1 4 a respectful fashion company get get hundreds of thoushands!!! |

well it really depends i mean like me BFF her mom and dad are both lawyers (they met in collage together) and her mom is like a single lawyer she works at a practice and sometimes the people never pay her but on the other hand her dad is in a higher cort level and he gets payed like 400 a week! |
