Pay off your bills first, then you can buys some frills down the road.... you'll enjoy it more without the burden of debt.
If you want to be happy with your financial situation, you've got to spend less than you make. Put money away in some kind of savings or investment, let your money work for you. That way you can have some piece of mind when an emergency comes about (job loss, car repair,etc.) and you will have money to pay cash for something you want down the road. There are people who make a ton of money but are under a large oamount of stress because they mishandle it and there are people who make not as much money but have handled it well so they can afford nice things every now and then and are debt-free. |

i find i only need as much money as to be able to live comfortably.i.e. pay the bills, roof over my head, the occasional good time out. real happiness comes from less tangible things than money. you may come to appreciate the fact that you have good health, a loving partner, and a stimulating circle of friends - more than enough for a lifetime of true happiness :) |
