That's a difficult one to answer. All i can say is the amount needed would outdo any logical calculations.
If you really want to spend some part of your life without working (i m talking about pre-retirement years), then start saving. Delay instant gratification whenever you can, buy yourself a couple of index funds and stay invested for next 15-20 years (i am assuming you are in 20s), also invest some portion into equity and bonds and work all this time. That's my solution to your question. |
