My Rates
1-2 kids ~ $5.00/hour
Each additional child ~ $1.25/hour
*When you are babysitting a baby under 10 months old, you should ask to be paid a bit more than your regular charge, since you must give more attention, change the baby, feed the baby, and put the baby to bed. |

Depends on all you're expected to do. Will you be assisting in home work? Helping run baths? Preparing clothes for school? Preparing snacks?
If you're providing services (i.e. snacks) that you'll be indulging in also, and not anything else above, you might consider $10 for a couple of hours $20 evenings or weekend mornings or evenings. |

Well...let's remember your not a professional day care person. I would charge about 4 dollars an hour...20 for a full day and an extra 10-20 for the whole night. I watch a kid..and I go to the house with my 2 children for convience of the parents(not me) and I only charge 20 for the day. He's also in diapers so it's a little more work than a nine year old. People need to give parents a little break on child care...it costs to much money. |

Usually the norm is around $2.50 per hour, but if you had to change your plans to babysit...emergencies are like $3 per hour.....it doesn't matter if it is family or friends. Business is business and you don't mix business and family.....I live by that rule!!! |

That depends on your experience and what you do with her. If you sit and watch T.V. then $2-3/hour. If you engage her and do things like help her with homework then at least $5/hour. More if you have first aid training. |

if this is ur first clint then don't charge too much.bcoz when u will not charge too much then they will tell this to their realitives and friends and this thing will provide u more costumers.and when u will have some more custmers then u can charge more money. |

Depending how many hours she would be there for, and what does she have to do, like just watch her and hang out with her, If yes and its for the whole day, then I think $40 is reasonable. Unless she has to fix dinner for her and take her out to like the mall, or movies then that's asking a bit much then I wold add another $10 - $12 on top of that. |

You shouldn't be "charging", or they probably won't hire you ever again.
Whatever they give you, you should take it and be grateful, you little twit. |

i think the issue is not the age but as to how she babysit. because even a 14 year old can babysit well. |

That's retarded...everyone knows you don't need a babysitter when you're 9. Just leave the 9 year old at home, and send the 14 year old out to buy beer and porn. |
