Most rich people didn’t get rich by their earnings. Wealth is usually built by leveraging OPM ( other peoples money), and is usually achieved through buying real estate with little to nothing down, or by purchasing stocks / securities on margin. These are risky things to do but if done correctly (or with a bit of luck) it will generate tremendous returns and true wealth.
Other ways to get rich leveraging OPM include venture capital, and IPO’s.
Very few people are “rich” from a paycheck. So if you’re not a pro-athlete or an actor, you’ll have to finagle the world of high finance to earn your status as “rich” |

Depends on where you live, and what the average salary is. I would say for one person above 50,000 is well off. Anyone that makes over 100,000 a year is rich. |
