In Mexico, that is enougth to live a regular life, so, if i would have it, plus my regular income from work, it wouldn't hurt, but wouldn't do that much.
In fact, if i could have that income, maybe i would even quit my job!!!! |

I wouldn't have to worry about anything ever again and that would be great. I would be in another state raising my kid not where I am now. It would be HEAVEN! |

My life wouldn't change much for $40,000 per year. I would spend a lot of it helping others - family members and friends.
I live a country life and I wouldn't change that for anything. Maybe I would trade my cabin for a 2 story country house built about 60 years ago on about 5 acres of woods.....)( |

Hmmmm, let's see. 40k more a year would put me in a higher tax bracket which most would probably go to taxes.
I would say not much. |

Probably not that much with that amount of money. I'd pay off my house and car, and keep on working. But it sure would be a nice breath of fresh air to not have to worry so much about bills. And there's so many people I could help...would be a big blessing. :) See, now you've gone and got me dreaming... :) |

Not that much.
I would keep my job as a teacher just for fun cash.
And I would spend the rest of the money going on exotic vacations every summer and spring and winter break. And I'd splurge whenever I wanted, but I'd still keep my modest apartment with modest things. I'd guarantee that $10,000 a year would go to various charities and scholarship programs! |

Wouldn't change it much at all. I might own a car and a condo - the rest would go to buying my Dad a new boat, paying off their home, giving cash to my step-siblings for school, and sending my Grandparents on a nice vacation. The rest would go into savings, and maybe a vacation with my boyfriend. (Though money wouldn't change the fact that he never has any time off. =P) |

It may not change too drastically. A million dollars doesn't buy what it used to. But I would have a HUGE &$&#ING PARTY!!!!!!!!!!! |

not TOO much. i would just have more time to pursue my career as a script writer for comics. i just started doing this and the biggest obstical i have right now is my crappy job. it takes up too much of my time and energy. if i was getting 40,000 a year for free i could put all my energy into my writing while living pretty comfortably. 25 years is a good chunk of time to get everything straightened out. |

I would be out of debt. I would have two cars (one for my husband, and one for me). I would have a home, and all of it would be completely paid off. No car or mortgage payments! |

Mine would be like going from this downtown falling apartment building to living in a mansion.
But I don't live in an apartment building but it would be a big difference! |
