All i can say is join the club. I got my disability this morning. Paid my bills, got my shooping and essentials and i am left with £2.24. This is not unusual. Some weeks i dont even have that. Two weeks now until i have more money. This is the real world. Maybe one day the goverment will stop spending so much on criminals and illegal immigrants and concentrate on the people like us. I have paid tax all my life and after an industrial accident leaving me disabled and unable to earn for the rest of my life and a single parent. I can now look forward to a life of nothing. Living day to day on what they think i need to live on. Wouldn't you love to see them live on what they make us live on. What a laugh. sorry had a good old moan there. lol
Sorry just want to add. Children have such long school holidays. They need to be entertained. You also have that time to buy new school uniforms. No help in that from the government so where does the money come from. The kids lose out on any extra pennies for a day out because uniform must be bought. Poor little buggers. I cant find a dentist to take us on in the NHs so we cannot afford dental treatment and my child has a tooth growing in the wrong way giving her pain. Gordon Brown needs to sort the country out now. Yeah as if that will happen. Ok i am finished ranting on lol |

i am skint, with school hols it has been a long month, its forever til next pay day. Husband and I both work and we worked out last night, that we would both be better off if we separated and i went on benefits. It ironic, there is no incentive to work in this country |

I can beat that, i have exactly 75p to last the week (including dinners) till next monday when i get paid. Even then its all accounted for! Its poop! |

So gonna be skint until next payday. Will go on tescos.com and get some food in.You can buy loads of value products and hardly spend anything- bargain! |

Ive got 50quid til i get paid tomorrow. I feel quite rich this week, i usually have about a fiver near pay day. Unfortunately gotta pay 210rent tomorrow and 190council tax and a couple of bills oh yeah then the dentist 15quid for a check up. Then try and scrape some money to take my son to the zoo. then il be officially skint til next thursday. No food shopping for us this week. Then mot and tax is due on van and car!!! Wish i could win the lottery!! |

My hubby got paid today so not skint.But had to go & pay
£103 electric bill so not too chuffed sbout that.
Why don't you eat up food that you've got in already in your cupboard & freezer.I could eat for a week out of mine ,just buy fresh stuff you need.Could save you a bit of cash.. |

i have had to live off beans on toast for the last week cos i have not a penny to my name, overdraft is maxed out and my mates even brought me some beans cos i ran out if them!! its a sad state of affairs and i dont get paid til monday either! |

I think at least one of the supermarket chains sell 5 or 6 meals for about £4. Not a fan of readymeals but bargain if you're stuck.
Now what to do with the change.

I have £2,389 in the bank and a £1,000 paid up holiday.
I also have a car worth £1,500 and am living rent free at the moment in exchange for work around the property and babysitting fees.
So not doing to bad thanks!!!! |
