You can usually cash the check at any grocery store with proper ID.

Yes, he can, but why don't you use that check to open a bank account and then any future checks you can cash yourself.

NSangel
just sign the back of it. then your dad can deposit it to his acct. he can give you the $$$ for it.

you might want to get a bank account. start saving up some $$$. :)

Yes, if you sign the check and give it to your dad and he signs it, then he can cash it.

There are a few ways you can go about it. There are check cashing places. If your dad can bring you there. Usually you need some form of ID. It couldnt hurt to look in the yellow pagesfor check cashing locally and then call to find out what forms are needed. Also Now at your age is a perfect time to open a checking account with a Passbook. It's kinda like the starting way to get set in life. Only other thing that I can think of atm is going to the bank that the check is written from and you can usually cash it there as well.

shasta
The grocery store can cash your check as long as you have an ID card, you will have to spend a percentage of it. Sign it over to someone who has a checking account. Check cashing establishment, but they will charge a fee. If you work for a grocery store and it is your pay check most the grocery stores will usually cash employees check for free.

You don't need to go to a bank and cash it. You can go to money tree or stores like that where they cash checks. They check your ID and match it with the check and then they'll take a dollar or two out of your money and give the rest to you.

Good Luck!
