Babysitting is an option, you can stay home and earn money. Post a notice in your home or apt community board and have your friends spread the word. I too am a single parent and do a few jobs from home. I work in travel and have my own set up at home. I babysit 3 times a week. I'm also a Passport Rep & Notary. Talk about busy???
You have to probably do things you find your not use to but it brings in the bread and butter '-)

Some questions to consider....
What have you done to find a job? Have you exhausted all possibilities?
Do you have a resume? More importantly, what is IN the resume? What skills/abilities can you offer a company? Don't expect a "job" to "hire" you, because you NEED it. A company wants to hire people, so they will help IT. That sounds harsh, but it's the reality. So, what can YOU offer to improve that company?
Do you have babysitting or day care options for your children - to give you the time to interview and work a job (once you land one)? If not, have you exhausted all possibilities there? Check with the local United Way. See if any area churches have day care help. Call your area social services office.
And lastly....
PRAY! Take some time to re-center yourself with respect to your faith. And pray!
And then watch "The Pursuit of Happyness" with Will Smith. It should inspire you! |

First, you have to start building some faith that there are jobs and you will find one.
There are legit jobs on line, customer service, transcribing audios, and more, but bear in mind there is a processing time which when you are desperate for money, can seem like an eternity.
IF you live in the US .... and are interested in this sort of stuff, I invite you to go to my blog, link in the 2nd paragraph of my profile here. Scroll through the comments and you will find two reliable links, with no GOOGLE ads that may or may not be legit offers... Go to both websites and see if there is something you could or would be interested in doing.
If you find a field, as in customer service, I would recommend you apply with several different companies.
Something is going to come through for you, I know it will. Just start being more positive about it even though things seem bleak. Remember, we get what we think... so think good, think big, think positive... and don't stop or give up.

I read emails. I get up to 20 a day, and get 2-5 cents per email I read, and then I also get 1 cent for each email that someone I refered to the program reads. I also do paid emails, and mystery shopping. I will tell you that none of these are quick money, and they do require some work, but they actually pay and there are no start up fees. The paid emails one was featured in Forbes Billionaire magazine. I can't post the link on here (it is against the policy) but if you send me a message I'd be happy to send you more information about all of these options. |

You can start selling things. I'm in the same situation you're in. But I sell home decor. I throw parties (kind of like spa, "toy", ect parties). It's a great way to get out, meet people, make money, and everything else. You could even take your kids with you if you wanted! |
