Invest in a shredder. They are not that expensive. It's not just these bills you will need one for - what about everything that comes to your home with your name and address on. Nothing like that should be going in the rubbish without being shredded anyway - that's how identity fraud is taking over the country. Protect yourself from it now and be responsible - you'll only want to act on it after it happens to you and by that time you'll have a nightmare on your hands. You can get a shredder for about £10 upwards. |

Hi, as per previous answers, you should never throw anything with your name and address on straight in the bin, that even applies to junk mail and envelopes with your address printed on them, as your details can then be used to set up accounts fraudulantly. You need to definately shredd preferably with a cross cut blade model, or burn in a fire, when I recycle I always remove my name and address from the top of the letter and I shredd envelopes with my details printed on the envelope. |

Burn them, and then dig the ashes into the flower beds/vegetable patch of your garden.
You can get shredders very cheaply - roughly £10 from WHSmiths. |

Either buy a shredder, burn anything with your personal info on or soak them in water with a little bleach until all the ink has been destroyed and then bin them or recycle them. |
