How to make money at home so i can be a stay home mom?

any ideas on how i can make doe so i don't have to go back to work right away. we need two incomes but i don't want to leave 5 days a week to word. thanks for u'r ideas. what kind of stay home jobs are there?

I know the feeling of not wanting to back to work. I have 4 children and never wanted to have to do that.

Well you have to have some sort of skill. I do tool design at home but I also have a college degree and 15 years of experience. My sister in law rewrites medical transcripts at home. I know there are alot of technical support jobs for like cable or Internet provider companies, but yo have to be good on computers. There's always telemarketing jobs as well.

There are a lot of jobs through Internet. The best is advertising.

I will not give you the hype, I will just tell you what really works. The technique is called Internet marketing. You need to become a marketing entrepreneur. I saw a banner ad yesterday for a site called Flexjob. Supposedly they are legitimate, work-at-home jobs and it's free to join. I didn't click on it though.

Lots of moms like to sell Pampered Chef, Mary Kay or other home party products. They do parties in the evenings when husbands are home to watch the kids. If you are dedicated and get salespeople working under you, you can make alot of money.

Try applying at your local school district. There are lots of non-teaching jobs such as admin and food service. Then you will have the summers off with your kids.

Otherwise look into some evening babysitting. If you get a couple of regular evenings (say, for people who have classes or second jobs) you could get a regular income. I am looking for a babysitter for two particular evenings while I go to martial arts and it will be a long-term assignment. A stay-at-home mom has applied, I will meet her next week. My husband travels for business, so I often need a sitter on weekday evenings. I know I am not the only one with no family in the area, a travelling husband, and small children at home. A mom like that will definitely need and want an experienced sitter.

Baby sitting is the easiest option. Many people would rather pay for in home care with just a few children than send their children to a child care center with 100 other little kids and their germs. If you like to cook, you might try baking or candy making. If you're a good typist, you may be able to type resumes or transcribe tapes (for instance from a doctor's office). You could even offer your services as a personal shopper or errand runner. (Your child/children can go along for the ride, just like when you run your own errands). Some business people are so pressed for time that they will gladly pay someone to run their errands. Be wary of online schemes. Especially if they ask you to put some money up front before they hire you to lick envelopes or whatever the scam is. Once you decide what your skills are and what you want to try, take flyers around to places that may benefit from your services. Post flyers in grocery stores, visit doctors' offices - whatever applies to your situation. Good luck!
