Well, if you're not old enough to hold a job or you can't get a job, just helping her out around the house or with the yard or with whatever she needs would be greatly appreciated. Ask me, I know. I'm a mom and those things really add up and take pressure off of me. |

Show intense effort to find it. It shows more appreciation than the money would. |

Were you paying her back for it in the first place? Or just because you lost it? If it was a gift I wouldn't pay her back, you just get stuck with no watch. |

You should have spoken about how to pay it back before you bought the watch. A question? Why do you need a watch when you have a cellphone that has a clock. Unless you are a nurse. Nurses are notorious for buying $15 dollar watches with a minute hand on them.
You could have said, I will clean your house for 3 times to pay you back, or something like that. Remember, time is money. If you give your time to someone, it may save them their time, which is money. |

Write up an agreement that you will pay her back at least 20.00 a payday. $20.00 won't break anyone. In no time you will have her payed back. She will love and appreciate you for it!
Or go to her and ask her if you could at least wait until after Christmas to start paying her back. I'm sure she will work out something with you. Good Luck! |

Go pop some burgers until you have enough; then hand it back to her & apologize for not being more careful. She may even go out & get you; another one, but she'll be pleased with you stepping up to the base, either way. |

I guess you better see about getting some overtime or a job or a second job. If that's not an option you better do a lot of sucking up usually that will do it. What happen to getting help from dad or another family member? |

I'm assuming that you have some sort of part-time job or get an allowance. If that's the case, try to pay her back about $20.00 per month. It'll take 10 months to pay it back, but it can be done. Hurray to you for taking the mature road! |
