There is a opt out tool online. Its to stop credit card companies from being able to get a preapproval from your credit score. http://www.optoutprescreen.com I used this a few months ago and have seen a big drop in the number of credit card offers. |

National Opt Out or open the letters call 800 number provided and tell you want to opt out from further mailings then shred the letters so your local trash picker dont open an account in your Name. |

Two ways, either write refused on the unopened envelope and drop it in the mailbox. The company has to pay for return postage and after a couple of times will get the message. The other way is to use the return postage paid envelope and stuff it with as much other junk mail that you can possibly fit in there. The company has to pay for the extra weight and won't be sending anything else to you. |

Or go to www.optoutprescreen.com and you can type in all the info, but I think I prefer to do it over the phone, but thats just me. Ive done it and I dont get the offers anymore. |

Most people don't know about this but there is an opt out for credit card companies. You can opt out for 5 year periods or for life. Goto https://www.optoutprescreen.com/ and fill out the form. That's all. |

in the letter you receive from them is a number you can call and stop them from sending them to you. other tha that either put return to sender on the envelope or tear them up and throw them in the garbage! |

1. Aviod subscribing to websites you are not sure what they offer.
2. At least use spam guard
3. Unsubscribe immediately to any sites you do not want to continue receiving mail from.
4. Stop spending time reading materials that are not profitable to you - delete immediately. |

Besides the other suggestions you already have, try this for fun. Open them, and when they have a return addressed envelope with postage, I stuff everything I can, all their ads and papers and even trash in the envelope WITHOUT the part that has my name/address and mail it off to them. That is truly Junk Mail. (Smile) |
