How would you describe a person who is paying off bills & doing well financially?
I am looking for words to describe myself...I want to pay off bills, pay down debt but I do not want to use certain words...I do not want to use the words debt, bills or anything else that describes what I don't want..I don't like the word solvent...I could say my house is paid off but I don't know how to describe what it means to have enough money to pay bills without stating they are bills............I know this might be strange to some people but I think if I can get the words in my mind as to what I want it to be like once my life is the way I want it them I can make it happen.....I know many people do not believe in visualization or the power of the subconscious mind but I didn't know where to go to get the support with this....I am really good at doing this but just haven't done this with money & financial freedom so I hope you can help me.

"Prudent," "astute," "creditworthy," "conscientious," "successful," and "effective money manager" will fit the bill.

And be sure you never call your savings an "emergency fund." Call it your "opportunity fund," "future fund," "freedom fund," "Growth fund," or whatever gets you jazzed, positive, and to you connotes the qualities of positivity, growth, security, resourcefulness, personal sovereignty, wellbeing, financial prudence, etc.

"upholding my obligations and responsibilities"?

When I grew older I finally realized what is important .And really that is the basics -like food water electricty and heat in the winter. Cool in the summer with a roof over our head. Taking care of the needs of our family and pets.
next would be transportation -which I do not have right now unfortunatly.
And have to walk or take a bus.
Every thing else is frosting on the cake.
And none of these basics should be robbed from the cake to pay for the frosting.

Greatful and lucky that u have a job.

Responsible. I owned a business for 15 yrs. Bills were always paid on time. I never used a charge card to pay for anything.I work hard and always ask myself if something is a want or a need. My needs have always been taken care of and most of my wants.Money has provided us to do many of the things we want to do and the freedom to do them. Please though, don't ever confuse money with happiness or freedom these are traits that come from within, work on them first. The only other thing I have to add----love what you do.

I'd say that person has more time to devote to living better and enjoy life how it was meant to be enjoyed rather than worry about making term payments on things for years and years.
