You CAN.
MOST services allow debit cards such as Visa debit (I have that) Visa Electron sometimes Solo, Maestro (Switch).
If your wanting to pay for an item with Ebay then Paypal also take Debit cards including Visa electron (I have that)
All you need to do is check the service/good providers (website or whatever) page on *how to pay* section or *payment methods accepted*
If it IS ebay your on about you can like others said, check with the seller if you can pay by postal order, bank transfer or cheque. |

Cheque is probably the best bet- if they wont accept a personal cheque you can try to get a bank draft from your bank, it's a cheque that you pay for at the bank when you get it so it's a guaranteed payment for whoever it is your giving the money too.
Postal order is realy your only other option.. |

If you have a checking/savings account you can set up paypal and any site that accepts that will allow you to purchase. You can buy visa gift cards and pay with that. Or if it' a site like Amazon or itunes you can buy gift cards for those specific retailers at grocery stores. |

you cant unless the seller accepts postal orders etc. you can get a pre paid visa/mastercard or maestro card, you pre load it and spend what you have they can be used in stores and online. you can get them on the internet or in some high st stores such as clinton cards and wh smith |
