You could do odd jobs. Post signs in your neighborhood and on bulletin board saying you can walk dogs, mow lawns, stuff like that. Just don't make it too expensive or people won't ask you to do things. |

Well, if doing chores for your neighbors, cutting lawns or washing cars doesn't sound good, you can go down to any local mom 'n' pop business and see if they need any box boy work.
At age 13 you're pretty stuck in this department though. |

set up posters around your neighborhood and advertise for babysitting. or you can do housework for people that you know. maybe you could offer cleaning the house to your mom in return for money. |

Your best bet is to mow your neighbor's lawn. It's easy and great labor to make money. |

* Mow lawns
* Rake leaves
* Shovel snow
* Hire yourself out to neighbors for other yardwork and chores
* Babysit
* Dog walking and other pet related stuff (for example, taking care of people's pets while they are on vacation)
* Buy candy in bulk and then sell individual pieces at school for a profit (requires having the money to buy the candy first, though, and might be against the rules depending on your school)
* Make arts and crafts and sell them door to door
My brother built a thriving little business for himself when he was your age by making potholders (you can get a loom and supplies at a local crafts store) and then selling them door to door. His friends made fun of him at first, until they saw the money he made.
Once you turn 14, you can get a work permit and a real part-time job. |

at thirteen I dont know what kind of business you could start. However, you could try having a paper route, doing yard work, walking dogs, or running errands for elderly neighbors. |

Isn't the obvious, babysitting? You can invent something new and make thousands, even millions. You could mow your neighbors lawn. You can go dog walking. Go to the corner of your street and sell lemonade and brownies. Sell your toys and stuffed animals. You could be a good kid and ask for your allowance back! |

-start a babysitting business
-mow a lawn
-make jewelry and sell it
-do chores around the house
-clean dishes
-take out the garbage
-walk your pet(s)
-clean your and others' rooms
-get good grades at school (that would work the best!!)
-iron clothes
-fold clothes
-do the laundry
-vacuum the house
when you do these things, dont tell anybody that you are doing it just to get money. tell them that you are doing it because you know it is right. that way, people will think you are mature and responsible, and reward you with money! |

Do some yard work for neighbors, baby sitting, and try to ask for money from your parents if you do a LOT of extra work! Hope this works/helps and good luck making some money!

Being that you are young your best bet is to try your hand at different odd jobs. Something like yard work, walking dogs, cleaning cars or houses might bring in some money. Or if you have a special skill, like fixing and servicing computers, you could turn that in to money. |

sell lemonade lol.....
but prostituting is out of the question... you're too young here in the west, and in Asia, you're WAAAAY too old to be a prostitute at 13. |

if you can saave your lunch money or something and buy a box of blow pops sell them for 50 cents a piece. youll make a lot from that ... then go buy a box of chocolate candies like kit kats and such in addition to the blow pops sell every thing for 50 cents or even 75 cents. keep doing it and you will make some serious cash... trust me :) |

At 13 years of age, you cannot work at stores or gas stations. So you will have to be self employed for a good three years. Try babysitting, this is the best idea I can come up with as long as you are responsible enough to take care of other's children and you must prove you are worthy of the job. |

1. Put fliers around your neighborhood saying that you can watch peoples' pets when they're out of town. People will pay a LOT to make sure that their pets are taken care of. When you do this, you get their mail/newspaper, water the plants, etc.
2. Babysit
3. Mow lawns
4. Paper route
5. Lemonade stand (lol)
I'm 14 and I've saved a lot of money without ever having an allowance. This stuff works! Do whatever is possible to stay out of trouble in the future. :] |
