Very, very, very unlikely to happen. If it was that easy, a lot of people would accomplish that objective.
Set a realistic goal (maybe work part time by your mid to late forties), then consider that goal whenever you make important decisions (e.g., financial, schooling, jobs, etc.). Drive a used Honda instead of a new Lexus. Take a driving vacation instead of a trip to Europe. Eat at home most of the time instead of out. Always live BELOW your means instead of ABOVE your means (saving and investing the difference).
The point is that it's possible to retire or semi-retire at an early age, but it takes work and it takes time. |

Well.....that is a BIG goal!! Suppose you could hit a jackpot, but it better be big to only have to work 20-25 hours a week.....besides the income don't forget those type of hours will not land you any type of health insurance! Think a better plan would be to find a career that you really like.....40 hours isn't really much more than 20-25! |

You can retire when you feel like it. Standard of living may not be what you want. Do you want to live in a home or a cardboard box. Unless you have serious money to invest that can grow quickly, I can't think of any way that is legal. Maybe the lottery. Hell if I knew how I would have done it 13 years ago. |
