What do you mean by where? Is that which bank?
First Direct is good (part of HSBC group) very good online banking and so is Lloyds TSB, also good secure online access. I find First Direct really good, cos if you go into the red, they will take off the charges if you phone and ask them politely to remove the charges. Check out the links below.

Your best bet is Citibank. They have branches mostly in London, but you can open an account over the phone or via the internet. They can check your credit records in the US and verify who you are. They have teams that specialise in ex-pats, particularly as a lot of their UK staff are from the US.
