Steven A | I'm single and have no kids. I owe $30,000 in medical bills. If I die, who gets stuck with that bill? |

I love watching cars turn left

If you have an Estate it comes out of that. If not the medical providers write it off. |

With a will, it is the responsibility of your estate (assets being sold off). Even without a will, whoever stands to be a beneficiary of any type from your estate (whatever possessions you have will be sold and the proceeds will pay all debts FIRST, then anything "left over" goes to the beneficiaries). |

The money will be taken out of your estate (all your assets) when you die. If this is worth less than 30,000 no-one has to pay the bills, the hospital will take a loss. |

Who cares, you'll be dead.
In all seriousness, generally no one inherits debt. It will be deemed uncollectible. |

Every thing you own goes into an estate when you die unless you have a will (homes, insurance, cars, stocks, household items, everything). Monies that is owed is pulled from that estate, if there's not enough then the rest is written off. |

Nobody, it's written off as bad debt. Every health care provider has to write off a certain amount of bad debt each year. This is where that would fall. |

normally if you are insured it's the insurance, otherwise the public treasury will make the inhabitants pay for it by rising their tax charges and so on and so forth. |

im not sure if what im fixing to say is completly true, so you may want to look into it.
i know in arkansas that if you can not afford medical expenses that they can hassle you, but you never have to pay as long as u dont have the money. |

Your family. Any siblings you might have, your parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents etc. Basically any one who has a claim to your estate or what you left behind. |
