I often put cash into my son's account as he is at uni. If I take it to a branch of his bank (Barclays) and its available immediately. If I pay it in at my bank (Lloyds) it takes a couple of hours. |

if you have access to check your bank account online, you can see if it shows up as available funds. If so, you should have it available immediately. Also if they deposited cash, I'm assuming it should be liquid. |

well hsbc is no longer than 1hr, and others will take no longer than 24hrs, unless its a savings account, which will be no longer than 5 working days. |

iy will say on th; invoice thing they should have given you when u paid it into the bank. usually about 4 days with me. |

That totally depends on your bank's policies. It could be anywhere from "instantly" to "three or four days".
