As mentioned in most of the answers, you’ll need someone who is 18 or older to also be on the account. You should really consider opening an account at a credit union instead of a bank. Credit Unions provide the same services as banks. But they have better rates because they are not for profit institutions owned by the people who use them. So, when you open an account, you will be an owner. You have to be eligible to join a credit union based on where you live or go to school, or because you are related to someone who is already a member. If you live in the USA you cannot open an account in JUST your name because you are unable to sign legal documents. You must have your parents permission and signature to open the account (it will be joint with one of your parents). |

You probably can, but your parents will have to sign you up for it as it requires adult's consent. Each bank is different, so you'd want to check with them. |

yes but the bank cannot make a contract with you. You have to get your parents to cosign. I had a bank account at 14 and a paper route., with which to get money for deposits |

Yes you can although you will need one of your parents to co-sign which means open the account with you . when you open a bank account there is security info and paperwork and since your not 18 you will a guardian or parent to sign the paper with you meaning they take responsibilty as well if you spend to much money or do something wrong. |
