The easiest way is this:
Make up 5 envelopes:
1. my savings for my car
2. my savings for everything else
3. my wants that I don't need but like to buy
4. extra emergency money
5. splurge on myself money
Put these envelopes in a safe place, where a pet or sibling won't be able to get to them. Have your parents help you assort how much money to put into each envelope. By the time you are sixteen, if you are ready enough to drive a car responsibly and if you have saved up your money decently (not to mention passing the drivers test)...you just might be able to get a car and drive down the road happily:)

p.s. you can do all the other stuff that ppl are currently posting... but saving up your money wisely is a big help..esp. when its organized in a good manner...maybe store the envelopes in your parents drawer b/c that way they can monitor how much you are using (yes...they really should watch what you spend) and they can dispense enough money properly for you to use in each envelope. You will want your parents to help you on this b/c when I was 14...I needed parental advice on how much to put away for each envelope and they have to go to the window of the bank to cash my checks from work. Parents usually know the right usage of how to disperse money and if you bring up the envelopes idea they just might be proud of you and be glad to help...
p.s.s. you are allowed to say it was your idea...i won't tell:) |

hi-- im 13 turning 14 in february and what id do is well-- in the winter shovel peoples driveways and sidewalks on one day alone you could make at least 300 bucks depending where you live and in the summer pick up a lawn mowin job and i do tht and buy the end of the summer i have about 800 bucks comin to me hope this helps--- |

since there aren't reallly jobs for fourteen year olds, you can help tutor elementary students. ask around at different schools, your neighbors, relatives, etc if any kids need tutoring. you can maybe ask for $10 an hour. You can even tutor more than one kid. By the time you get your license you will have loads of cash. |

Hi, forget all the ads you read here offering you the chance to get easy money, they don't work and all they are is to draw you in to what could best be described as an on-line scam. Just think about it for a moment, if you could make money as easy as what these people would suggest then we'd all be doing it then who would do the real jobs in society like the street cleaners, bus drivers etc.,try to e-mail these people, they all have their e-mails blocked so you can't contact them, hmm, I wonder why? Besides, if anyone does make a lot of money from them do you think that they would be telling you about it? No!
Best thing you can do to make money is to go around your neighbourhood offering to wash cars, clean windows, doggy walking and anything else you think you are capable of, if people see that you are determined to earn some money then they will find you some work to do, but please, when you do find work to do then make sure you do a good job. |

You can technically get a job at 14 with a parents permission. Ask a store or some place that may like to have you! But you need to keep your grades up and be hard worker!
Another option, some schools pay to work the concession stands for summer league baseball. Check it out and see if you can!
You can also get a job with the school, working in the cafeteria. I wouldn't want to, but desperate needs call for desperate measures =)
Tutoring is also an option. Our school lets highschool kids tutor grade-schoolers. If you are a freshman, that is another option!
Or, you could always get a babysitting job! It can add up, if you save your money and not waste it!
Just remember, don't waste money on a shirt you'll never wear or a movie you'll be disappointed on! Put your money in the bank AS SOON AS you get it, so your not tempted!!
