Please don't believe ANY of them..... Those people prey on the elderly and once you're in their clutches.. you cannot escape..and they will drain you dry of any finances or self esteem you have left. Don't even respond to them in any way.. not even to "unsubscribe".. that only lets them know for sure you are an "active" email account..and they will sell your address to hundreds of other spam outfits.
BE AWARE!!!! If it's TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE... I'ts NOT TRUE!!!!

Older persons are the favorite targets of con artists. Whether today, using the Internet, or in the past, using the famous old "pigeon drop" scheme, for some reasons these thieving tricksters love to get their hands on a trusting older person and wipe out their bank accounts.

There is NO SUCH THING AS "FREE MONEY."

If it is too good to be true, it probably is.

And if someone you never heard of, have never met, and you can't even prove really exists, offers you free money in a deal that looks too good to be true - what do you think is going on?

Never trust these mailings. Never even open them - many are carriers of computer programs called viruses that can destroy your computer.

Never, never, never - EVER - give ANYONE your banking and personal information over the Internet. When you get email messages that seem to be from your bank, then CALL your bank if the message disturbs you. DO NOT ANSWER those messages at ANY time, EVER.

The Internet may be the information superhighway - but remember that scam artists, thieves and bank robbers have to use the highways just like everyone else. It is up to YOU to be your own traffic cop and protect yourself from them!

Not a bit. Scammers are very busy on the web.

Not at all, Sir!

You can't trust them at all.

smilingmick
Spam might sound like a food to you but spam is like junk mail in the world of computers... don't trust anyone and if you are second guessing yourself... check with a family member to look into it with you as there are so many bad people out there that prey upon older people and their trust.... be ever so careful.
Hope this helps

ozi_nut
Two things to tip you off it is fake

You get numerous amounts and everyday that woud be alarm bells and let me guess they are aksing you for your account details?

Do you stop to think how they got your name in the first place and who put your name in the draw?

sorry to say they are not real.

Does it sound too good to be true?

Do you really think someone would e-mail you about something like this?

Delete them and be careful what information you give to people you don't know.

andrewdoane
You can't trust them at all. They are lies. I'd say it's a safe bet not to believe *anything* in an email unless it came from (1) a person you know or (2) a company that you requested information from. If you just get an email out of the blue it's almost never trustworthy.

jooker
Don't trust them, trust me! Send your money to me, and I'll watch it for you!

They're perfectly legitimate! In fact-- I have one for you. All you have to do is send me the $200 entry fee and I'll send you your prize. I'll be e-mailing you my address shortly!

Congratulations in advance!

stargazinggoddess2005
Don't. They are most likely spam. Just delete them and they will start to disappear gradually. I am 21 and started recieving about 100 of those emails a day. I just deleted them and now I'm down to about 10 a day.
Whatever you do, just don't open them. They could be spyware, viruses, or spam.

DO NOT TRUST THEM AT ALL!!!!!!!!!11111 They are scams to seperate you from your money. Once they get their hooks into you, they are greedy and won't let go until they have drained you dry. I do not even open the e-mails. I just delete them (after forwarding a copy to security@yahoo-inc.com for investigation.
God bless you.

doesn't matter how old you are :) Spammers are just that spam! Don't get caught up in the loop or catch a virus. :(

Don't trust ANY of them. Don't do surveys either unless you want to get a ton of junk mail.

hogtyd
Absolutely none! :( Sorry, but there's no one in some remote country in Africa that's going to give you a percentage to act as a financial "go-between" and Bill Gates isn't emptying his bank account to reward Microsoft users to email more frequently...They're all scams!

I don't know
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Don't open those emails you're not sure of because it could create a virus on your computer. If you see an email you're not sure of, don't open it!
