The best way to get real money is to get a job! There is no easy way to make money. People pay other people for work and work isn't always easy. I bet a lot of retail shops are hiring for the holidays. You could try them out. |

Any sort of gainful employment is a good start. If you need cash ASAP try something where you get tips, like waitressing or bartending.
Otherwise, you can pray you win the lottery, but don't hold your breath. |

If you aren't working at all, there are day labor places where you show up. If they have work, they send you out and you are paid at the end of the day.
If you are working, the suggestions to get a second job are good. Waiting tables has the benefit of making tips. Doing night shift in a convenience store or other 24 hr. place might be an option. However, very few of these options will give you cash in your pocket Day One. You have to wait through a pay cycle.
How about being self-employed? Are you handy with your hands? Can you start a handyman business? Do you type? Do you live near a college? Perhaps you could put your name up as someone who will type college papers, $XX per page. (Remember you have to be able to type something that is formatted and spelled correctly to do this.)
Stop by your public library and look for the self-employment section. There are books that list ideas for home based businesses. |
