Everyone on there is claiming back charges from banks/credit card companies. you can download letters and the intrest calculator

I would hold fire for the time being, i read yesterday that the Office of Fair Trading in the next three weeks are going to force the banks to return the charges. Presently you have to take them to court if you are unlucky with a letter, if you challenge the bank they are paying up sums of money but not necessarily all of it and are then closing the accounts down. With the OFT ruling they will not be allowed to close accounts and make life hard for you! |

you know i am in the same boat as you abbey have been ripping me off, i was charged 89 quid today for 30 quid each for direct debits taken while i was overdrawn, i dont have nay that would have caused this, its a disgrace, they are a rubbish company |

Can I ask why should you spend money that is not your's when ever you feel like it and not get charged? Is it fair that bank now going to charge all customer's as you & your fellow debtor can not cut your cloth according to what you have!! So no help with letters! |
