I use yahoo mail and have a spell check on that just above the box where you type, i also have a spell check on here just over the box i type in. on word there is also a spell check. |

I have a spell check on my toobar - it is labelled ABC check with a green tick. I also have a similar icon near to my "your answer" section where I am typing this message which is headed "check spelling".

If you look above to the right when asking or answering a question you will see it there....I assume you are talking about Yahoo answers??? you call call us all brainless but look a little closer to home....YOU ARE NOT MAKING IT CLEAR WHAT PROGRAMME IS MISSING A SPELLCHECKER......and yes I am from the UK! |

You don't say what program, but if it is in one of the Office programs, like Word, you need to re-set the toolbar. So right button of mouse on empty part of toolbar area, down to customise at bottom, toolbars. Now i can't remember whether the spellcheck icon is on the Standard or the Formatting toolbar, so click on each in turn and then click on reset button which will bring back all icons which should be there. Hope this helps. Again, if it is an Office program, you don't really need tghe ABC icon, but you can right click on any word with green or red underlining and suggestions will come up. |

Go on to tools and customise you should have a toolbar tab and I think its the standard box that needs checked.
Windows has a help option if you have any problems.
