Sounds like you've got more than your share of medical conditions that make life and finances very tricky. Unfortunately you'll find bad apples here just as anywhere else. I'm assuming you mean the guy who said "marry a rich guy." Considering some of the answers I've seen it's pretty mild. Not to say that it didn't upset you. You need to try to ignore people like that.
I hope you've applied for Medicaid. If you are on Social Security Disability of Supplemental Security Income you should be able to get Medicare (after 2 years on SSD). Also, any hospital that accepts federal funds has to offer Hill-Burton assistance to those who qualify. That could help to reduce your medical bills significantly. I did that years ago when I was a single parent. You might also consider applying for Food Stamps to help you stretch your food dollars. I know applying for these programs can be daunting and humiliating. But they are there for a reason. Think of it this way, you've paid your taxes that have gone to help others in need. Now you are the one in need.

Some people take a question out of context, or don't read it properly, which makes them answer incorrectly. Then there are some who are just trying to be cute--and they just need to be ignored. I don't know how old you are, but you will find many people like the latter over the years. Just smile, say thank you, and that will bother them more than anything. |

Because you have to remember, most people on earth are actually stupid and do not realize how stupid they really are. Oh, and they are not mature enough to realize this fact either.
You also have to have some sort of guts on here. They are trying to get to you. They also just probably want to get 2 points for not answering a question. |

If you're in America, would have to say because it's a free country. We are all entitled to our opinion. When you ask a question here, you put yourself in the vulnerable position that someone may not say what you want to hear. We just have to be mature enough to let it go. This is in fact just a game really (this answering and asking of questions. Don't take it so personal and serious. Be thankful that we do have that freedom of speech here. |

When you ask a question here... you're going to get all kinds of answers from all kinds of answers.
I once answered a question where I TOTALLY MISSED the point of the question!
She tagged me and explained... and I apologised...
With all answers recieved... YOU are the judge of the ones that work for you. Simply DISCARD and DISREGARD the ones that don't fit. |

They don't monitor content of the answers. They check for profanity, usually, but almost anything else can get through. If you don't want to take a chance of getting an answer that will hurt your feelings, don't ask. By putting a question in a public forum, you're inviting anyone and everyone to answer. You can't pick and choose your answers. Sorry if I made you feel bad. |
