Yes, print your statement online and take it back with your receipt.
If they refuse to refund one, your next stop is the bank to file a dispute on one of them. Part of your dispute form will indicate you already tried to work it out with them.

There is no need to demand. Just go see the manager with your receipt and statement. |

Either go back and explain what happened, or call your bank and tell them what happened. They will reverse the charges. |

Just go back to the store. Ask to speak to a manager and tell them what happened. Don't come off rude. It's a pretty common mistake from what I've seen. It usually gets credited back to your account within 2-3 business days. |

You can get a credit refund from the supermarket when you show adequate proof that both transactions were cleared. This will happen from debit cards tonight at midnight, so tomorrow you need to check to see if both requests were transferred. Take your receipt and a copy of your bank statement back to the supermarket and speak to a manager to get a credit refund. |

Yes. You go back and tell them of the mistake and they will fix it. They will be able to pull their receipt tape and take care of it. It was more than likely a computer glitch and might be fixed at the end of the day, however be nice about it. They'll be much nicer to you. |

First call the company, and see if they can correct the problem (put the money back on your card) without you having to go back. |

Go to the supermarket and see if they can help you, but don't expect much because they probably won't be much help.
Then call your bank and tell them the situation, they will remove the charge. They should actually contact you because most banks monitor your activity and if you charge the same amount twice in one day at the same merchant it flags your account for a representative to call you.
Don't panic, you should have no trouble getting this resolved. |

Hold onto the receipt and get a copy of your bank statement showing the charge. Usually the charge will drop off on it's own in about 3 days if it doesn't then b*tch them out proper! |

Go back to the store and show the receipt. They will credit your account immediately.
Be nice about it, cashiers make mistakes too. |
