I'm guessing you never had this kind of money before and now it like it is burning a hole in your pocket, that made me smile for you. If you feel you can spend it without saving it, have some fun like when you go out you will be able to spend more on food. You could alway pick up a hobby and go buy the supplies to get started. Here are some idea, painting on slate, cross-stitch, acrylic painting on canvas, knitting or other stitch type work, sewing, or drawing.
My first thought is for you to put it in the bank for when you do know what to do with it.

If you have someone put it in a "growth mutual fund" for your benefit (It should be title Their Full Name FBO Your Full Name"), because of the power of compound interest (ask your math teacher) it could easily grow to be worth almost $1,000,000 by the time you retire! That time will come before you expect it, and if you get there and find you have a million bucks because of $160 you invested when you were 13, you'll realize you were a very, very smart teenager! |
