I have a bad credit history, and have recently been approved for a loan from an internet borrower.?
The only thing is they said they will send me out the forms, and ive to return them with a £49.00 fee. Does anyone know if this is standard practice?

i was in same situation.sent the money.didn't get the loan.that's their fee to look for a loan.the finance company make the final decision.which is a credit check.so don't send the fee.its a con

You should never listen to this stuff it is a scam !!if you have a bad credit history why don't you look at getting a secured credit card? This way it can help you to start building up your credit rating again. It took you a while to get your bad credit rating but the good news is it shouldn't take too long to build it back up again too !!

You are about to be very neatly ripped off, not just straight away but for ever after. See your Citizens' Advice Bureau before you sign anything.

Druantia
Don't even go there! The terms and conditions will be loaded with things that will cripple you financially. The APR will be so high that all you will do is pay off interest and never the loan.

Why not approach the co-operatives that are set up to help people like you? Ask your local Citizens Advice for the addresses.

Good luck!

I don't like the sound of this. Have you had a look at this site? It's recommended by the finance editors of major newspapers.

You've fallen for a hoax if you've sent them any money at all.

Never pay a fee for a loan unless you're sitting face to face with your banker and they can take you step by step in explaining what the fee is for.

STAY AWAY!!

NOOOO, It is a scam!

you are paying someone money,
and giving them access to your information,
and this is a person you have not met?
I'd check them out with the BBB,
are they even in your country?

sounds like a good way to lose money to me.

I have heard of sending money for an application fee,
but, that sounds like a scam to me

think to,
how were you approved if you have not filled out an application yet?

Paul
some lenders ask for a fee so it isn't unheard of although I would of thought they would add it to the amount you are borrowing rather than ask you to pay up front..

did you ask for the loan? is it a recognised company?

you know what they say "if something looks too good to be true..

Don't go there, the interest rates will be a lot higher and you'll be in deeper debt

Why do you even need a loan?
Are you not capable of living with what you've got?
Are you too gullible to notice a scam when you see one?
