Big O
I have a credit score of 664?
can someone tell me what exactly what that means. is that good or bad. i think its ok. give me the breakdown

Wonder
Scores range from 300 to 850. The higher the score, the more you can borrow and at a lower rate. The site below says the US average is 723 so you will pay a higher interest rate than the average person.
So, pay your bills on time and don't have to many open credit cards - they'll kill you.

It's fair. You can to websites like fico.com and learn about it.

It's probably good enough to get a loan if you don't have too many other bills.

welltraveledprog
It's OK, not great.

The breakdown varies by who is making the credit decision and what it's for, but in general:

below 550: forget about it :(
550 - 600: poor
600 - 650 : average
650 - 700 : good
700 and above: excellent

i recently requested a credit score and mine was good yours i think is ok, its measuresd out of a 1000 and i will have to leave it to someone else to explain the factors which are involved but remember companies sometimes have their own credit process and your credit score is only one factor in that, so you can have a 797 score like me and still njot be able to get another store card because you arent on the voters roll.

It's average. Most people in the USA have a rating of around that same amount. Not too good, not the worst either.

700 and above: excellent

0 (Zero) - No credit on record and doesn't owe any money - NOW THAT MY FRIENDS IS THE REAL EXCELLENT!!!!

Answer the questions below to see your potential credit score range.
The credit survey is for educational purposes only and the score range generated is based solely on the information you provide.
Question 1:
How many total accounts do you have? (open and closed)
Accounts include credit cards, retail cards, auto loans, mortgage loans, student loans, etc.

Question 2:
How many of your accounts:
Please differentiate between accounts that are PRESENTLY late vs. accounts which were PREVIOUSLY late.
Are presently 30 days late?

Were previously 30 days late?

Are presently 60 days late or greater (include delinquencies, charge offs and repossessions)?

Were previously 60 days late or greater (include delinquencies, charge offs and repossessions)?

Question 3:
How many credit cards or loans have you applied for in the last 2 years?

Question 4:
Excluding your mortgage, how many open installment loans do you have?
Installment loans are loans which have a fixed monthly payment amount over a scheduled period of time. Auto loans and student loans are examples of installment loans.

Question 5:
How many open credit cards do you have?

Question 6:
What is the total credit limit on all of your open credit cards?
For example, if you have a VISA with a limit of $20,000 and a retail charge card with a limit of $1000, Your total credit limit on your credit card accounts would be: $21,000 ($20,000 + $1,000).

Question 7:
What is the total balance on all of your open credit cards?
For example, if you have a VISA with a balance of $4,000 and a retail charge card with a balance of $500, your total balances your credit card accounts would be: $4,500 ($4,000 + $500).

Question 8:
What is the number of open credit cards that are "maxed out" (less than 10% of credit limit is available)?
As an example, if you have a VISA with a balance of $4,000 and a limit of $5,000 (20% of credit limit available) and a retail charge card with a balance of $950 and a limit of $1000 (5% credit limit available), one credit card (the retail charge card) would be considered "maxed out" since less than 10% of the credit limit is available.

Question 9:
If you have had a judgment, tax lien, or bankruptcy occur, when was the most recent occurrence?
If you have had multiple judgments, tax liens, or bankruptcies, only use the most recent occurrence to answer this question. For example, if you filed for bankruptcy 5 years ago, but also had a judgment occur 18 months ago, your most recent occurrence would be: 12-24 months ago.

Question 10:
When was your most recent credit card or loan opened?
If you have opened multiple accounts recently, choose the most recent one.

You have a relatively excellent credit score which means you don't have any over withdrawals or loans to pay back. GOOD JOB!
