Well unfortunately credit isn't easy to obtain when you've messed up your credit record. I should know, I also got into a mess.
In the UK it takes 6 years for the credit reference agencies to 'forget' about your past. Up until then, you are pretty well stuffed unless you can lay your hands on some cash.
TIP1:
Change your name. This is complex and you need a new address to move to under your new name otherwise the credit agencies will tie you together if you stay at the same address. It's also very longwinded and possibly illegal. Personally I would not recommend this as you could get in trouble.
TIP2:
If you are a homeowner, you can get a nice new homeowner loan from many places. Just be sure to keep up your repayments or you might find yourself in a big mess.
TIP3 (This is genious here):
If you have £1150 you are sorted.
Goto your local bank and open a savings account. Put in £1000 and then ask to see the manager about a SHORT-TERM loan. They will refuse until you agree that they can freeze your savings account for security. This means you cannot access your savings. When you are asked why you need the loan, Tell them it is for "Credit repair/Building". This is genuinely recognised reason which they will loan money for.
Once this is done, take the loaned £1000 and repeat the process another 4 times with different banks. When you leave bank #5, return to the 1st bank with #5's money and pay them off (AND the small amount of interest owing - hence why you need £1150). Take your savings back out and go pay back Bank #2. Take your savings from #2, Repay #3 and so on.
Once you have repaid bank #5 you have 5 very good, clean positive points on your credit reference score from 5 banks. Suddenly you will find that credit is available to you from practically anywhere and many bank managers will be only too happy to help.
TIP 3 sounds rather longwinded and far fetched, but infact does apparently work very successfully. It is used by people ranging from 1st time property developers to people looking for short term loans. The only snag is you do need just over £1000 to start with - Not easy if you don't have it.
Good luck whatever you decide.. |

did you know that every time your credit is searched your score goes down? not many people do.
your only hope is a high interest company like provident (if you live in the UK)
banks wont touch a low credit score but seriously if you have money problems a loan is not the answer.
go to your local citizens advice bureau, they can get some of your debts squashed and sort low repayments on others.
they can also talk you through all options in confidence.
good luck, i was there once but ok now due to the c.a.b |

i wouldn't recommend trying the short term loan savings scenario in all honesty i work for a bank and we would see that as a money laundering risk a home owner loan is probably your best bet and a full financial review |

depends how much you need. london scottish, in the phone book. if you got a bad credit history, borrowing more will only make it worse |

Try a website called confidential access - they have lots of products and advice. Don't worry about a bad credit score 75% of this country has a blemished credit history - its the world in which we live - remember a large percentage of millionaires have once been bankrupt. If you die owing a million you have had a good life, if you die with it in the bank you've worked to hard! Good Luck |

Sorry. This is one of those situations that only you can repair. You caused it and now you pay for it. I know it's not the answer you wanted, but there is no quick way out of a bad credit situation except time.
Now, you have to start all over and make people trust you again that you will pay your bills on time. That is unless you have some wealthy family or friends that would be willing to take a chance on you. |

DO NOT GET A LOAN. don't even think about it. You already
have money problems. You cannot afford more debt. You cannot afford a loan. It will only put you farther in a hole.
Concentrate on getting out of this mess before you do anything else. |

try capital one |

The more times you ask for credit, apply for loans etc, the lower your credit score goes. If you desperately need credit now, go for a capital one credit card, and after you've had it a while, apply for an egg card and you'll find your rating has improved. |
