Yes it is... Tmobile actually has a plan for people with not so good credit. My cousin has the same plan.
And you won't have to make a deposit. |

yep, some senerios-
someone puts you on their family plan
someone co-signs for you.
you find these off-the-wall companies that will take or give you another chance. |

Cricket would be great for you it has a great variety of plans and they all have unlimited local minutes...maybe long distance too for new customers... some cool phones to choose from and NO CREDIT CHECK! So if you ever defaulted on your bill they will not care they will just eventually turn your phone off and after a whole month they sell your number but when you call or get ready to pay again they will turn it right back on and may charge about 15 bucks for reactivating your account and maybe the same amount or nothing at all for a new number. If there is not one in your area check the on-line store to see if you can buy one...but if you are not in their satellite area SORRY. |

go to Tmobile they will work with you. I had the same problem my credit is not the best and At&t wanted me to put a 500.00 deposit down but Tmobile all they want me to put down was 30.00 you have to pay on time and not go over 1000 min. that they give you and if you do that then after a year you can get a regular plan. |

I use tracfone and you pay for 1 years access and your minutes and they never expire if you don't use them all. A year and 400 minutes $93.00 phones as low as $9.99. |

I'm in the same situation -- I had to get a prepay phone. It's not too bad though as I don't use it a LOT. You CAN get a phone plan but one company told me I had to put down $1,000.00 DEPOSIT -- freaked me out totally -- I'm not a criminal -- bad things happened in my life out of my control. |

Go to wirefly.com and sign up. Most times they will push it through for you or you will pay a minimal deposit. I contacted verizon before going through them and verizon wanted a outrageous deposit then I went through them and got the phone through verizon with no deposit. Good luck.. |

yes it is possible sometimes you can get phone plans over the Internet, or find those on the side phone companies that work with bigger companies they will usually sign people. T-mobile is pretty lenient. |

Yes it is. you will probably be asked for an initial security deposit. make sure to ask if and when it can be refunded or applied to your account. Don't hesitate to call the big carriers. Just explain your situation. Perhaps you can arrange for automatic payments from your checking account. Make them SWEAR to the set monthly amount. |

Anything is possible, but it is easier for you to get approved for a car than a cell phone with bad credit. What you need to do to clean up your credit is apply for a secure credit card and buy something cheap monthly on it and pay it off at the end of each billing cycle. Make sure not be late with payments and after awhile you will start helping your credit score. Which at that type you can get a regular cell phone plan. Just an idea!!! |

yes, in most cases they require a large, very large deposit. |

Yes, if you have never had a cell phone in your name then they will approve you instantly. If you have had one before, some companies require that you pay a deposit. The deposit can range anywhere from fifty dollars to five hundred dollars. You will get the deposit back at the end of your first year of service. |
