some people will give you a car and money and laugh all the way to their bank. Save some money and buy it cash as other people gave you sound advice! . |

When you say history, do you mean that you have paid off your debts? If you contact a credit reference agency you can check whether it is correct, it may not be as bad as you think. If you've already applied for credit and been refused, it could also be your occupation. students and unemployed to get refused credit as a matter of course. |

you'll probably find that either one of these companys will give you finance on a car ( yes car loans, carcraft, acf, welcome car finance) but i would strongly recommend that you dont bother with either of them as the amount of interest they charge you is extortionate. also by the time they have added on their insurances etc. you end up well and truly being ripped of. my partner went through acf, the car was advertised at £6999 then when they added on their interest and insurances it totalled up to £18000, which as you can see is a hell of a lot for a car which wasnt even worth the £6999 to start of with. this worked out that we would have to pay £260 per month. also if you default or are late with one payment they come take the car back off you straight away and then still expect you to pay for the car, interest and insurances for a car which you no longer have. to add insult they then write to you saying that they will knock off some of your debt if you pay in full which with us they still want £12000+. then they keep sending you letters asking if you would like to go and buy another car ( bloody cheek) as if we would be that stupid to do it again. so to answer your question, yes you will get a car through one of these rip off merchants but in all honestly i would tell them all to bog off and buy a cheap old run around with the money that you woulkd be paying them off a month. |

yes there are a lot of finance company's out there that will give you credit, but the interest rates will be high, what you need to do is check out national press and the TV media and make as many phone calls as you can to see whats the best rates you can get, but read the small print very carefully. |

You CAN get a decent car loan, even with bad or no credit. I've done it, but you'll have to look around. Shop around for lenders who specialize in bad credit car loans.
There are usually some nationally based car loan companies who specialize in bad and no credit car loans who advertise on the page linked below...

If you do, it will be at a rip off rate I'm afraid. As you will be classed as high risk. If you can, rebuild your rating first. |

Look at the APR on any deal offered - if its more than 8% - walk away.
If they say crap like 'it's not about the APR it's the monthly amount that matters' they are lying to you. The APR determines the monthly amount you pay. If the monthly amount seems lower with a higher APR - either the loan is over a longer period - or there are dodgy first/last payments.
If your credit history is poor though, you would be better off getting a cheap old banger with cash and not incurring any more debt. |

Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution.
I will hereby talk from my personal experience.
I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay to some minor details,
if someone wants to get out of debt today it is pretty easy with a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times, I suggest you get as much information as possible online on this first,
a good place to start in my humble opinion is a straight to the point ebook with question and answer I found :
http://umgarticles.atspace.com/debt-consolidation.htm
if it helps kindly remember me in your voting!.. cheers! |
