Take it to the bank. If the numbers are present they will exchange it.
Kris
yes just go to your local bank
aslong as when you put both sides together they match then they will change it for you
claire j
I've done this before and the post office changed it for me, Leave it for them to stick it together though.
KATE
As long as the numbers and the security tab are intact the bank should change it without any problems
WAYNE C
yes as long as you take it all with you.

i think they give you a form that you have to fill out explaining how it happened. then you send it off along with the £10 note and you will receive a cheque shortly afterwards.

Cellotape and jigsaw puzzle patience.

Take it to your Bank and explain what happened. As long as you have all the bits, they should make you a refund.
Don't try putting it back together - these damaged notes are a pain in the butt from a Teller's point of view!!!

How it works is if you have 51% of a bill it is legal tender. Which half and numbers matters not.
But you have all of it. Just tape it together and take it to a bank.
bud
as long as the number can be seen they will change it
JOE CURTIS
sellotape it back together... Its still legal tender, no matter how many bits it is in.. but the bank is more likely to change it, if its been taped back together.
