You could go to the small claims court...........but whats the use.
Put it down to experience and move on.........bitterness and prolonging a "dead" relationship will just cause you more pain and financial heart ache.
I feel for you but its over........allow yourself 2 years and 20 bottles of Jack Daniels, 1 case of Stds and 3 imbetween relationships before you recover! |

if she starts being awkward the only way to get your money back will be through the small claims court. try to keep things civil between you two, then maybe it wont come to that. |

If you have no written contract with her you probably can't...although I don't know your legal system very well. |

Oh my gosh that's a tough one unless you can prove they were her debts and you in fact paid them off ...but then again she could say she has paid you so her word against yours ..i would talk to the citizens advice if i were you |

It may be difficult to prove. Go to your local citizens advice bureau and explain the situation. It's likely they recommend you first just ask her for it and if that fails threaten to take her to a small claims court. |

otherwise you'll have to just chalk it up to a lesson learned and one that u dont ever wanna repeat again. |

Tell her that if she does not pay it back you will have to speak to a solicitor for advice as you have the statements to say you paid cards off in her name!
The only problem is that you don't have anything to say she borrowed the money, but its worth a try! |

depends if she doesn't give it back u can go to court. But u need to have evidence proving that she would pay u back for the total amount. Something in writing. or the judge wont have anything to go on and ur screwed out ur money anyways. |
