seriously you need to pay for a license.
as for a wedding , if u go into debt for a wedding that is a lousy way to start a marriage.
many grand marriages started with a justice of peace/ pastor and friends for under 200$.
if she needs a big wedding - promise it for ur financially stable 5th yr with lots of cash.
if it is a deal breaker, remember marriage is grand and divorce is ten grand$. |

Hmmm? You have money problems? You can't afford to pay for a wedding? Hmmm? Once married are you going to be able to afford to raise a family? Did you know that money problems are the number one cause of divorce? Careful in getting into what you're getting into. Sounds to me like you might want to consider delaying the wedding or eloping. |

The best place to get money fast would be to loan it from your bank in the form of an overdraft or personal loan.
If you can't approach your bank for whatever reason you'd probably get a loan from a money lender fairly easily but it would be at a much higher interest rate - so be careful.

My recommendation is to save up your own money for the wedding. Spending large amounts of money on a wedding isn't necessary. You might have to be creative, but you can have a nice ceremony without breaking the bank. When my wife and I got married we had it at her parents house. The decorations and dress and everything couldn't have been more than $500. And guess what...we are just as married as someone who spent $30,000 on their wedding. The only difference is we aren't still paying for our wedding 8 years later.
So try to come up with some ideas to make your wedding ceremony special without having to borrow money. You will be all the happier that your marriage can start out without having to worry about paying a loan back for the wedding. |
