I have several thousand Italian Lira still in my possesion.?
Can I still exchange them for Euro's or US currency?

Pinguino
Inside Italy, you can still change Lira till 2012, but n Banca d'Italia only (Italian Central Bank); I don't know if you can do straight where you live.
Anyway, 1000 lire = almost 50 eurocent.

kj
Take it to a bank. They can probably exchange them for you.

Aardvark
It's worth a try...

Go to a bank that does currency exchange.

Take it to a currency exchange or a bank

Idk why you'd want to, it's only like $5 usd

mblastguy
You may be able to, or if not you might be able to sell them to a collector. Try going to your national Bank or at least a very large one and talk to them about it. That is your best bet. If they can't do it they might refer you to someone who can.

Mal L
no.......but if you find in a banck a friend in italy who can do this but i think that this is impossible to exchange ...but if u can do it is better in euro tha valute is beter than dollar

At 1400 to 1 do you think it is worth your time?
Some banks will exchange funds. I guess you might ask at yours and find out if they value you as a customer.

Think you've missed the Euro exchange deadline by quite a large margin.

quantumrift
Throw it out. Even if you had a billion lira, you could only buy a pack of bubblegum and maybe a cup of coffee.

(take it to a bank that exchanges currency)

FriedRice
probably not, but its worth a try go make sure

probably no
