If your car costs more than $3000 then sell it to a dealership and go buy a REALLY rotten car, atleast you'll still have a car. But if it's not, then just let them take the car, then they're out of pocket. |

So you should do what you can to hold onto your car and keep your finances in check, but if it all fails and you lose some things, take a step back and look at what's really important in your life. you will find that you are really lucky. |

I know that it can be hard sometimes, and I'm sorry about your circumstances. I think your kids will forgive you for loosing the car as long as you try to stay upbeat about it. Easier said than done, I know I know. But you lose the car, and then take out your frustration on your kids, then you have failed them. This may be a little weird, using a football quote, but coaches often tell their players that success is measured not by how high you get, but how high you bounce back after hitting the bottom. By that same token, failure is how many times you get knocked down, and dont try getting back up.
Now I know all this philosophical stuff wont save your car, but the example you set for your kids on how to handle things will do more for them than the car ever could. |
