I would buy something for entertainment-- an IPOD or ZUNE (unless you already have one), a new game, or roller skates. Roller skates are cool. |

Not a whole lot you can do with that. Since you are bent on buying something, though. How about one of those Sirius satellite radios for your car. You can listen to radio anywhere. |

$500 can take you and a friend on vacation. Perhaps a MATH convention or something. I have a friend whos name is gabriel is horrible with math. He uses yahoo answers a lot instead of asking he's so called college teacher.
Anywho......Flights to almost anywhere can cost about $150 to $200. Take a small trip to NY or Las Vegas. I usually like to give short answers and to the point, but some people do not have the common sense and just dont get it.
Good Luck to you.
I hope you really choose to save your money. Best thing you can do with it. |

Genuine pre-ban absinthe from oxygenee.com (scroll down and click the link that says Original Vintage Absinthe)
He scours europe for unopened bottles from early 1900-1915 and decants them into tasting sizes. A 50ml sample is ~$300, but worth it to say you've tried real absinthe. I'd do some research on it too, send me a message if you want links to real info on it, there's a lot of bs on the net and myths about absinthe. |

My last purchase of that magnitude was a very well made bicycle. It was made by the Giant Company and the Model is a Sedona LX. I have had it for over a year and still enjoy it very much. No regret on my decision to buy it. So that's one specific suggestion.
If you don't like the bike idea, maybe it is too specific. Try to think of something that will get you outdoors. Many people feel better when they are outside and it has been proven that is healthier. I think it should be something that would get you out a few times a week and not something like backpacking that you might only get to once every 2-3 months. Some thing more along the line of roller blades or an expensive fly rod if you have a quick place to get to where you could fish. |

buy something for someone special - it's not something you'll keep and throw away later, it's a gift to a special person! a bit cheesy but hey its an idea. |

This is silly. You SHOULD save part of it. You SHOULD invest part of it (start a 401k now, while you are young).
Things that are fun? Do you plan on living with Mom and Dad for the rest of your life? This is one of the most irresponsible and SILLY postings I've seen on here. |
