I live in Bristol UK. I desperately need the help of a loan shark for approx £1500. Please help!!!! URGENT?
PLEASE E-MAIL ME A.S.A.P. I KNOW NOT TO MESS WITH LOAN SHARKS AND I DON'T INTEND ON DOING SO. JUST NEED URGENT HELP

I have tried every other avenue that I can think of. This is not a decision that I have entered into lightly but it is at a stage where I have no choice. I do appreciate all the advice given but contact details for a loan shark would be most helpful

Anyone who goes to that kind of crook needs his head looking at. Do you want to pay 3 or £4000 or more for a quick fix? They arrange it so that you never get out of debt. What do you want the cash for, a new car?

You borrow anything from one of those scumbags, and you'll still be paying it back out of your pension.

Go to where above says it will be easier, and they should help.

I would strill strongly advise against a loan shark - don't go near them; you'll probably never be able to pay it back.

Go anywhere else:

a bank,

your local credit union http://www.bristolcreditunion.org/index.asp or 0117 924 7309 ... they are regulated, ethical, and the interest rate is legally capped),

zopa
http://uk.zopa.com/ZopaWeb/ (established website where several individuals will club together to lend money)

First of all it makes me laugh that there are people answering here who have clearly not read your question and are just trying to scam you. All those people saying "contact this guy on lame_email43@yahoo.com", what a joke. If it were legit they would have an email address with their companies name at the end what a joke.

Now to try and help you. First of all, when you apply for credit they no longer do a credit check on the property you live in, or any you have lived in before, it is only your personal credit history they take into account. So if you dad has bad credit rating it shouldn't affect you. If you've tried applying for a loan and been turned down, get a hold of your credit report at experian.co.uk and if you find you have quite a good credit then you can appeal against the decision about the loan, just ask your bank.

If you're really struggling for money then have you tried talking to your local citizens advice bureau? They can give you a confidential service offering impartial advice. I know my mum was struggling finance wise and she went to see them and they really helped her.

Just whatever you do don't go to a loan shark. I know someone who did and he only borrowed a few hundred quid but he was paying it back for ages and as long as you owe them money, they got you under their control. And you'd end up paying back a lot more than you borrowed.
