Hey hogun, If I were you I would get on it and report it or there is nothing you can do but wait and see if someone turns it in to the police, then you have to prove it's yours, some people might even keep it and spend it, so you better get to the cop shop and make sure they have your information, other than that I don't know what to do next except retrace your steps and look for it yourself. |

If they found it then they probably spent it. I assume you mean it was cash.
The police will not be able to do much if it was cash, but report it, you never know someone may have handed it into the Police station - but you may have to prove that it is yours. |
