Just make sure you have no debt that the money could be used to pay off! Have an emergency fund of at least $1000, then pay off any debt. When you save over $10,000, seriously consider putting it in some well-diversified mutual funds and watch how it can really grow over time into a little wealth!
It's great to save, and pay cash for things. I am totally debt free and saved up for a new-to-me car ($10K) ... just driving mine until it dies its final death!

Yeah. I work two jobs. I'm sure people think I'm trying to fund a crack addiction or something, but really the extra money's all going on my homeloan! I'm hoping to have it paid off within 5 years. It's so exciting. I actually enjoy saving money. I must be a financial security junkie or something. |

That's good for you, I wish I could do that. Whenever I see my bank account grow, I want to go shopping. So good for you for being able to save money. Keep it up and you'll probably be a Millionaire soon. |
