You could be in trouble. You will probably be charged a bad deposit fee. It is possible that you could be charged with fraud. |

I don't really understand what you mean by "fake deposits" but I am going to assume bad checks. Most likely the checks will bounce and you won't get any money from them. If you mean fake deposits as in, actually, I don't really know what else you could mean. They'll charge a customer service fee and a bad check fee probably, you know those banks! |

If you mean you put fake deposits in with your ATM card, come Tuesday morning you will be hot carded and your account will be frozen. You will have to make a good excuse, but all Banks have heard the "I put the wrong stuff in the envelope" routine. You'll like lose your checking account and get report for fraud.
If you were kiting, that is putting checks you know aren't any good in your account to get some quick cash, you need to make those checks good or the same thing will happen. |

I'm not really sure how you'd make fake deposits. But if you manage to, and get caught, my guess is that you'll find yourself in a lot of trouble. |

ASk your bank I'm sure they have that as one of their options. It's like number 5 or something. |

Don't panic! If you haven't tried to withdraw the fake money, you can probably just call your bank and tell them you forgot to put the checks in the envelope. They'll take the money back out of your account and maybe charge you a fee. If you withdrew the money, you'll need to get it back to them or there will be more trouble. But don't panic! The bank will try to work with you before they start legal action, especially if you stay in contact with them and cooperate. |
