From personal experience, you should be paid by early next week. I doubt very much you will have to wait until Christmas Eve. I would guess Monday or Tuesday at the latest.
Ring your benefits office and ask. |

Xmas Eve isn't actually a holiday so if it's due then you should get it then.If you dont-go to the dole office and demand a counter payment-if they try to fob you off with saying the payment has already been issued, remind them that you are entitled to this money by law-on the date it is due and that they are perfectly able to cancel the payment and issue you a Giro. Be polite but firm.

Probably midnight on the 23rd December. Xmas eve is still very much a working day in the banking and state benefits systems. |

Probably on the 23rd - or even Christmas Eve itself. You would always get paid BEFORE a holiday, rather than afterwards, but I don't think Christmas Eve is a holiday. |

Well, I should get my wages paid in on Fri 26th but cos its a Bank Holiday it is getting paid in on Wed 24th as it is classed a a normal working day so I would hazard a guess that it will appear on Xmas Eve. Happy Christmasand just think, everything is half price on the 26th!!!! |

i am on jobseekers allowance, and i get pain on the 23rd, instead of the 30th so i would imagine it would be the 23rd or maybee even after xmas on the 27th |

should be xmas eve itself as it isnt a holiday and the postoffices are still open. if not it will be tomorrow or tuesday |
