I'm 13 yrs old too believe it or not (1993)...and the way i get money is by doing chores around the house...ask your mom or dad how much they will give you if you:
*mow the lawn-i get around $15
*sweep the garage-i get around $20
*sweep the house-i get around $50(it's a big house)
*organizing each room-i get around $15 per room
^----if you do all of those i guarantee you will get $120 or probably even more! |

If you take the lawnmowing and go knocking on doors, be sure to take someone with you - someone who doesn't answer the door with you and watches from the curb.
Visiting strangers homes to sell services can be dangerous, especially for young teenagers. |

If your parents don't mind (and with their help), sell your old video games, dvds, etc. on Ebay.
Have a garage sale for items not worth putting on Ebay or too heavy.
Wash cars
Walk dogs
Babysit
Ask your parents for an allowance, or clean out their cars and do some chores.
Recycle a bunch of cans
Buy some cheap brownie and cookie mix and have a bake sale outside your local grocery store... People get hungry when they go food shopping!
(You could even ask your friends to bake cookies, brownies and a cake to create more selection and you can all make a profit... besides, baking mixes are pretty cheap to buy and you can easily make some great extra cash.)
Doing one of these choices may not get you the full amount you're looking to make, but if you try doing more than one, you might be surprised!
