Check with your local Credit Unions. All in all you may have to pledge a certain amount in a savings account but the rates are worth it. I have banked with a credit union since I was 15 and am employed with a credit union right now. Hope this helps.

Seriously, call up the bank. Is your credit score good? At leas 700 to get any type of personal loan. Do you have a car? Can you refinance it? If you have a CD at the bank you can put a loan against it. Got a credit card? Ask for a line adjustment.
Credit unions are more lenient with loans, so you might want to try them.
