First of all, you need to relax a little bit, life is going to be so much more complicated than freaking out about getting a car...
With that being said, you could probably find something at a local restaurant or something... maybe some places would hire you if you had a workers permit |

I'm blowin away by the fact one can drive a car at 16 and yet can not vote or join the army. Most cars weigh 2000 pounds and are propelled through space by someone wearing braces on their teeth. They still can not legally buy booze but as we all know there are many mind altering substances at hand. This is not the era of Leave It To Beaver and the white picket fence. 99% at that age are messed up if they get turned down when asked to dance. Save your lawn mowing money till you get on with Wendy's and then save until your 18 so you can afford a safe reliable car that won't kill me. |

i need a job in a year or 2 also. im thinking of working at a local grocerie store. u could look in the newspaper to find jobs. most adults dont want minimum wagejobs so u should be able to find one. |

save up for a scooter. it costs less, and is less expensive in the long run.
as for working i would look to work in a resteraunt, specifically with catering. i worked a catering job over the summer. i worked maybe one or two days a week and made $10 an hour plus tips. and since we worked big events there were usually big tips. the flexible work hours allowed me to keep another fulltime job during the week, but i made good money with the catering alone.
